Here we go again... New challenge, new context, new industry, new flatmates. Already rich in experience, still broke in economic units. If you can relate to the existential depth and joy of the 21st century's non-linear career path, tag along. I am uncertain of the future in all aspects but one: We won't get bored any time soon.

About

I studied industrial engineering and started on the shopfloor, learning to weld and repair presses. Since then I have started again more than once: lean production in China, enterprise software at SAP, policy analysis in Delft, economics in Rotterdam, private markets at Rothschild, flood insurance at ETH Zürich, and a funding programme for AI software at Opendata.ch.

It looks like a zigzag. To me it is one question asked from different sides: what does it take to build something new and make it work in the real world, technically, financially and under the rules that govern it?

Philip, again, because every step started from zero.
